new olive love

I hope you all had a nice and relaxing weekend! We had a lot of sun here and visited the zoo with our small niece, she´s so cute! Here is a picture of my hubby, niece and me inside the goats cave, where a baby goat starts to eat hubby´s shoe haha! :)

Anyways, I wanted to share my today´s outfit of the day - the weather has finally cooled down a little bit so I chose my new beige soft pants by stefanel and one of my new t-shirts from Marc o'Polo I finished it up with bronze flats from greece and rosé golden & white watch by Michael Kors

I have to admit that olive or green has never been a color I would have gone to. But lately I discovered this color for me as I think olive green goes very well with the bronze and rosé golden items that I already have. In addition to that I started faithfully using green as eye shadow as well! ;)

On the weekend I picked up my second eye shadow color palette from NYX´s runway collection. It´s containing olive/green tones as well as bronze/golden tones - how perfect fits that!? :) These eyeshadows hold throughout the whole day and I don´t need to touch up. Cause I´m not really a touch-up-person! :) These eye-shadow palettes are totally inexpensive and I can totally recommend them!

Oh and I also picked up a black eye-liner that paints very softly from BeYu and a white nail polish by essie. It´s called 'allure', looks so delicate and I love it! :)

I hope you´re all having a good time and wish you a nice start into the new week! :)

Clinique order arrived

This week my Clinique order finally arrived, I was so excited about it that it felt like waiting... forever! Now I am really happy and want to show you how cute the packaging looks like and what´s inside... I obviously clicked 'send as a gift' without noticing it, but anyways it´s beautiful! :)

As you probably know from my last post about Clinique I ordered the 7 days scrub cream. I also received 15ml of moisture surge extended thirst relief as a present and 2 samples I could chose myself.

These are a color surge butter shine lipstick in the color delovely. Honestly it´s the least color I would have chosen if I had ordered a lipstick from their website, but this color looks so nice in fact! It´s a shimmering nude tone with a brown stich. I am also curious to try out the even better eyes dark circle corrector and see how that works on me!

I am really looking forward to the weekend and applying these products as for one of my beauty routine evenings! :) What are your latest beauty buys? If you like you can also leave me your link in the comments below - I would be glad!

sale! at the designer outlet - haul man + woman

I went again to the designer outlet in Neumünster because they have sale at the moment and you can make reeeeeally good deals! This time I went with my husband and as he was kind enough to act for me as my personal model so I can show you what great deals we both made :) To mix it up a little bit I will be showing the items that we bought shopwise - we visited Marc O'Polo, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss and Tom Tailor!

At Marc O'Polo I found a simple casual grey t-shirt with a v-neck that I was looking for. It has a small pocket on one side and is a little bit longer than usual t-shirts. I chose it in all colors they had in size small. :)
Each t-shirt was originally 60€ and I paid 10€ each instead. At the check out I saw some cute thin brown leather belts, I am wearing them in the 2nd pic. One is braided and one is straight with the MOP logo in it, they were 10€ for both!

At Lacoste there was a stand with actual collection wear and we were both lucky that the sizes fit us. Because these clothes were for presentation purposes  only and will be available in shops now, but as they were on window mannequins once, they were an additional 50% off the outlet price!

I also was looking for kind of a maritime red and white striped shirt and was lucky to find this one in size 36. I paid 17€ instead of 50€. My hubby found this khaki-beige straight leg pants, they look like a jeans but are very light fabric, almost like linen but very soft at the same time. These were 50€ instead of 120€ (I think).

Next stop was at Tommy Hilfiger where my hubby bought two tank tops for the high summer season, which we have here in Hamburg right now - today it´s 30 degrees outside! These tops are 100% cotton and perfect for such hot days :)

A white and a grey one, nothing too dark... each was originally 30€ and he paid 21€ for each.

Most clothes my hubby found at Hugo Boss which is also one of our favourite brands as the quality of their clothes is just solo good! Here´s what my hubby got.
A navy blue and a black pullover with a knitted logo on the front chest. Each was originally 100€ and he paid 35€ each. The light grey pants below is the same as the one in the right pic above, it catches the color better! These are also light fabric - soft summer pants of very fine quality. He paid 40€ for this pants which is amazing!

This light grey pullover has a deep v-neck and...
... details on the shoulders and almost invisible arm patches which I think is cool! :) This one was 40€ instead of 120€.

His last item from Hugo Boss is a grey casual zipper with the logo on the front chest again - 40€ instead of 150€ (I think).

The one and only item I got at Hugo Boss is this blouse in the color I´d call salmon :) It is very fine soft and silky quality. There are no buttons in the front but a little zipper at each side what I think is a good idea. :) 50€ i.o. 100€.
The white shorts I am wearing in the above pic (actually in all of them) is from Tom Tailor. I was looking for new white shorts to replace my old hot pants with a cut that is a little bit longer. They are comfy and cost 30€ i.o. 40€. Also the black dress below is by Tom Tailor and I fell in love with it´s soft and swinging fabric immediately!
It has cute knitted details in the front...
...and kind of a belt in the same fabric with a bow in the front. I hope you can see it! This dress was 50% off and I paid 25€ only!

I think we were really lucky and saved a lot of money! I am also very happy that I can cross some things from my wish list right now :) I can only recommend you to check out this designer outlet, especially now during sale! We also loved the shopping athmosphere there and will probably come back soon. :) I hope you find this post helpful and if you are interested you can also see my video here.

Enjoy the sun if you have any chance! ;)

quick and easy make up look for everyday

Generally I like wearing make up that appears natural to me but sometimes I add a little splash of color, maybe matching my outfit or whatever...

I just wanted to show a quick and easy option for a fast everyday make up that I am wearing a lot, varying with eye, lip and rouge colors.

As a base I am using the Clinique BB Cream and apply my concealer by Estée Lauder under the eyes. Then I add 1-2 layers of Mary Kay´s mineral powder, some rose colored rouge by MAC and countour my face (chin to ears) with the lightest shade of Terra del sol bronzer and I also add a little bit on my chin and nose to make it look sun tanned ;)

This time I applied a plum colored eye liner by Estée Lauder directly under the lower water line and colored the inner water lines with my stila eye liner in the color stayring. My brows are as always painted with the artist´s brow pencil by Estée Lauder - which is one of my all time favourite products!

This time I chose a lip gloss from chanel in a rose to lilac shade and 2 layers of L'Oreal´s architect lash mascara in deep black which is also waterproof.

For my eye lids I used the NYX palette which is amazing! It´s the first one I own and it includes all these colors that I love the most for my brown eyes. This time I chose the lightest shimmering rosa tone (down right) for under the eyebrow and the color beside it for the eye lid. For the crease I took the lilac tone (2nd from down left).

(why does my nose appear so big??? haha)

I know the lightning is not ideal, sorry for that! But what do you think? Would you also wear it?

Self test & review on Clinique 3-phase-skin-care

This is my personal review on the 3-phase-skin-care by Clinique.

First of all I had done a skin test at a Clinique counter and I am skin type 2, which means I have dry combination skin.
There is the possibility to check out your skin type on cliniques website as well. But if you have a chance I would recommend to do it at a counter! The products are categorized by numerized skin types. Anyways...

I bought this skin care kit for 9,-€ and it consists of a cleanser (30ml), exfoliator (30ml) and moisturizer (15ml) which is also called ddml (dramatically different moisturizing lotion).

I was told this should last for 10 days. I am now half way through with it and I wasn´t using tiny amounts. Especially in the evenings I applied the mild facial soap 2 times to remove my make up and clear my skin properly. But I have gotten an extra sample from the lady at the counter so I had one tube on my bath sink and one in the shower. From the exfoliator I used two 'heaves' over a cotton pad, but unfortunately I splashed a little bit out of the bottle yesterday evening :( so it appears now a little bit more empty than it actually would be after 10 days. And the moisturizer should be applied on my dry cheeks only, so I should have used a pea sized amount. But often I used a bit more and even spread it down my neck and decolleté - never can care enough! ;).

Regarding all this the set would probably last for up to 3 weeks I´d say, maybe even up to 4 weeks if you are the sparingly type or use a proper make-up remover additionally.

After the cleansing process I surely added my eye and face cream for completion. For this self test I took the following pictures.

Taken in the evening before starting with the Clinique test kit:

with make up / washed face / creamed face / July 6th - 9:42pm
My main problems were the dry skin on my cheeks and resulting visible lines as well as creases under the eyes. I also have sensitive skin due to allergies.

The following photos were taken after using the test kit for 10 days:

 with make up / washed face / creamed face / July 17th - 6:44pm
And this is what I looked like today in the morning time. I just thought to add these photos because of the light and the way my make up looks like now while using the same products.

 with make up / washed face / creamed face / July 18th - 6:57am
Sorry if I look strange in those pic´s - they were all taken by myself and I had little issues with the lightning...

What did I recon?
First of all I lost this awkward tension on my dry cheeks. Secondly I do recognize a decrease of my eye creases, they did by no means disappear but they look much better. Also the itching around my eyes has disappeared completely which must have come from my former face cream. Then I also mean to see that I do look younger and fresher now. Further the redness on my cheeks and the pigments on my forehead are reduced. My skin feels smoother and more even. I also feel my make up gets applied easier/smoother and will hold longer now.

footnote:
I only had two small break outs during the time but I learned from Clinique´s website that this is normal and the skin will be cleared from deep below.
Then I guess I also have to admit that I had a party weekend with alcohol, cigarettes (normally I´m a non-smoker), less sleep and bad food! But I ate mostly healthy all the other days as usual and drank minimum of 2 litres of water/tea per day. But anyways...

What I am really happy about is the fact that I finally got this radiance/glow that I always wanted to have! And it´s not coming from make up, it is coming from my skin!

What is my conclusion?
This all surely means that my skin is much more healthier. The Clinique 3-phase-skin-care system totally works for me and my sensitive skin. I will definitive change to Clinique now and already bought the full size bottles and another small kit for my upcoming holidays.

Also got some gifts, a weekend-size skin care set, a high impact mascara and a concealer brush. I am especially curious to try out the mascara!

Also want to try out some other Clinique products as well, like the repairwear lip treatment, deep comfort body lotion etc. They also have beautiful lip stick colors! I love runway coral and will probably buy it soon! ;) And as I can´t hold my hands still, I already ordered the 7-days scrub cream via the website! :)

In addition to that I committed to myself a new kind of beauty routine where I will do extra care like a camomille steam bath, peeling & mask etc. twice a week! I definitively want to keep my good skin now and care more for it!

I have not been paid or anything to do this self test and review. However, I couldn´t recommend it more to try out this series - not only for sensitive skin. If you like, you can also see my video on the review here, where I try to speak English! ;)

new summer home decor items

During my shopping fever I stopped for a short visit at IKEA and picked up some cute new items for my home.

I was actually looking for some new sheets and was so glad I found these, because I love the maritime look...

...with the blue and white stripes and these cute blue buttons at the sides!

The white pillows are by the way also from IKEA, but they are not new. :)

For my kitchen I got this cute yellow jug. First I used it for fresh made juice but now I placed it on my window sill for holding my cooking helpers. It just gives a little eye-catching fresh up! :)

And I cannot leave IKEA without buying candles! I bought some big tea lights for these candles holders that are from Douglas.

They are green and smell fresh like apple! Lovely... :)

What are your latest buys in regards to home decor? Let me know! :)
