quick and easy make up look for everyday

Generally I like wearing make up that appears natural to me but sometimes I add a little splash of color, maybe matching my outfit or whatever...

I just wanted to show a quick and easy option for a fast everyday make up that I am wearing a lot, varying with eye, lip and rouge colors.

As a base I am using the Clinique BB Cream and apply my concealer by Estée Lauder under the eyes. Then I add 1-2 layers of Mary Kay´s mineral powder, some rose colored rouge by MAC and countour my face (chin to ears) with the lightest shade of Terra del sol bronzer and I also add a little bit on my chin and nose to make it look sun tanned ;)

This time I applied a plum colored eye liner by Estée Lauder directly under the lower water line and colored the inner water lines with my stila eye liner in the color stayring. My brows are as always painted with the artist´s brow pencil by Estée Lauder - which is one of my all time favourite products!

This time I chose a lip gloss from chanel in a rose to lilac shade and 2 layers of L'Oreal´s architect lash mascara in deep black which is also waterproof.

For my eye lids I used the NYX palette which is amazing! It´s the first one I own and it includes all these colors that I love the most for my brown eyes. This time I chose the lightest shimmering rosa tone (down right) for under the eyebrow and the color beside it for the eye lid. For the crease I took the lilac tone (2nd from down left).

(why does my nose appear so big??? haha)

I know the lightning is not ideal, sorry for that! But what do you think? Would you also wear it?

beauty favourites june 2013

These are my beauty favourites that I loved the most in the last month! :)

From bottom to top:

1. Estée Lauder artist´s brow pencil / double groomer in 03-black brown.
This eye brow pencil is in fact one of my all time favorite products. I have dark brown hair and pale skin and I don´t like it when the contrast of the brows is too strong, cause I think it looks a little bit evil ;) This pencil has the perfect warm mid to dark brown tone for that combination of hair and skin and it also has this small brush on the other side so it´s at hand immediately. Very convenient! I´m also using this brush when I cut and style my brows.

2. stila smudge stick waterproof eye liner in black (stingray).
Using this eye liner on my inner water lines while giving a little pressure against the upper line this outlines my eye form very nicely.

3. Estée Lauder artist´s eye pencil in 09 plum writer.
I love it so much because I think it´s a beautiful color and a nice difference to the mostly worn black and brown tones. Just drawing a short line below my waterline from mid to the corner of my eye.

4. Clinique all about eyes rich eye cream.
After having reacted badly (dry and crinkled eye skin) to the wrong products I searched for a new eye cream and finally got to this wonderful product that gives enough moisture throughout the whole day. My eye skin doesn´t look so dry and crinkled anymore already! And a plus is that it is 100% fragrance free and allergy tested.

5. Mary Kay mineral powder foundation in ivory 2.
This powder is also one of my all time favourites. Applying it in layers, normally on the weekends one layer is enough, it covers very well for a powder, looks natural and holds all day long. For working days I would apply 1-2 layers. One package is enough for at least 6 month and therefore it is a steal!

6. John Frieda full repair hair mask.
It softens and fills my hair with moisture while at the same time it´s not heavy on the hair at all! To the contrary it also gives volume to it! I´ve never experienced this effect on a hair mask before!

7. Emporio Armani ...lei/elle/she/ella... fragrance.
Whenever I am smelling this smooth scent I get carried away by thinking of a sunny day at the beach or a red sunset in summertime. It reminds me so much of holiday and that´s always a good thing! :)

I hope you liked this post, if you´re interested you can also see my video here.
