The sun came out again this weekend and it was so nice to spend warm days outside. Today shops were opened and my hubby and I made a visit to the designer outlet in Neumünster - our favourite one! ;) Here is what I wore.

I picked only one piece today so I thought I would show it real quick. It´s again a pant from stefanel! I just like the way they are cut, they have a straight leg, super soft and nice fabric and the pockets are exactly at the right place to make a nice bum! :) Today I chose the color camel and I am looking forward to combine it with my autumn outfits!

Last week I spent on holidays in Bavaria. This area in the southern part of Germany shows some really nice facets! My big wish was to visit the worlds biggest fun fair the Oktoberfest. Here is my holiday picture story.

I love travelling!!! It is so exciting to get to know all kind of different people, cultures & rites, cities, landscapes & climates :) Bavaria was definitively worth driving 9 hours by car! And I am already looking forward to our next exciting holiday tour!!

Beauty haul 9/13

I am so sorry that this blogpost is up so late! I have been on vacation and initially wanted to write and upload from there but the internet connection was damn slow... :/ So here comes my quite late report.

I am so happy that I could finally find the time to share my first big beauty haul with you!
Some of these beauty products that I bought for the month of september are new ones, some are good old friends! ;)

 

Totally wanted to try the Aussie colour mate shampoo! The nice packaging with the cute kangaroo caught my attention :) I know opinions on the internet are splitted about this product but I can say I totally love it! I have naturally straight hair, it is very fine and appears to be thin, so I am always seeking for volume and lots of moisturizing care for my highlits and volume waves. The shampoo and conditioner smell peachy and make my hair genuinely soft, silky and shiny! What more could I ask for?! :)

I am also using the 3 minute miracle reconstructor hair mask with mint extracts now for an more intense care of my hair once a week, usually on the weekends.

 

My new hairspray is the Elnett deluxe by LÓreal it´s a volume hairspray for extra strong hold. It´s really nice for my hair because it´s not sticky or gluey, gives volume and additionally it´s easy to brush out and restyle. :)

The Estée Lauder artist´s brow pencil double groomer is clearly one of my all time favourites and needed to be purchased again! I buy it for so many years now. It comes with an own brush which is the best part in my opinion. The color simply suits my skin and hair tone very good as it´s a very dark brown and gives a natural look!

Hm, I kind of got carried away with these essie polishes! Haha! You have the possibility to make a small test on essie´s website and they recommend you which care you would probably need for your nails as well as propose colors which you´ll probably like depending on chosen style. Did this just for fun :) my result is the help me grow base coat and I also picked two new colors. I was looking for a very dark lilac for autumn and chose 'luxedo' the metallic bronze is called 'buy me a cameo' and was a spontaneous buy!

The Nivea frangipani & oil shower gel is my favourite one, it smells flowery and fresh I also like the waterlilly & oil which smells flowery but sweet. I like the smell the most and the gel is very soft and spreads gently.

The in shower body lotion is so handy and I love practical things! I want to nourish my skin every day so I like to use this product especially on the mornings during my working week. I started of with the in shower body lotion but changed to milk now, as my dry legs need a bit more care! This product is a huge time saver and the idea is amazing.

I am so in love with my Clinique long lasting lipstick that I wanted to have another color from this range and chose 'pink berry' a dark rose/berry tone. 

The liquid facial soap mild is a second bottle in use for my bathroom, because I like to have one bottle directly under the shower and one on my bathroom sink so I don´t need to switch every morning and night time. :)

As already mentioned the staffs at the Clinique stand in Alsterhaus, Hamburg are so nice! For my buys I got this cute goodie bag with all summerish fruits on it! Inside was as small version of the high impact mascara, a chubby stick in the perfect color strawberry, a small all about eyes serum - this comes actually with a real cooling metal ball, very cool! ;) - also a small all about eyes make up remover for lips, lids and lashes (also waterproof) and a small pot of extended thirst relief. I am so thankful! :) I like the packaging of Clinique´s samples and it´s fun to try everything out. In general I think it´s better to try new products from good packagings like this. I don´t like these small flat plastic sachets. With the right packaging you get the right feeling ;)

BB Cream

Recently I have been using the Clinique age defense BB Cream with SPF 15 as they had a special offer and so I got it in a small test size of 15ml.

 

Overall I think it´s a good product especially with the age defense ingredients and the sun protection factor! Also the tone fits my skin tone very well. And as I have to admit I have become a big Clinique fan in the last weeks I would possibly buy this in a full size tube.

However, I noticed when applying the BB Cream on the face I should minizimze my strokes, unless I receive small stripes and have to like work the product in. That´s the reason why I would like to try out something else before investing in a full size bottle.

Are there any BB Creams that you can recommend? I would be so glad to receive your tips and inspirations in the comments below! Thank you :)

new in! Zadig et Voltaire

I discovered a new brand!
Zadig et Voltaire have made the famous karma tee with which I fell in love at first sight!

The fabric of the tee is very light and the structure of the white material is woven slightly diagonal which I think is very nice. The cleavage and sleeve ends roll up slightly. The karma wording is a very firm flock print.

Beauty Favourites August 2013

These are my favourite beauty products that I liked the most in the month of August!

Starting off with 2 shower products...

I have done my grocery shopping online and originally wanted some shower gel, but I must have made a mistake and received the Nivea in-shower body lotion! Haha :) Which turned out to be very handy, you simply apply the cream lotion onto the wet skin and rinse it off with water afterwards - that´s it. This is a huge time saver for me, especially on working week days! :) The only little down side for me at least is, that the skin on my legs is very dry and I probably need a little bit more as a lotion. Therefore I will definitively try out the Nivea in-shower body milk next time!

Then I loved the Nivea frangipani & oil shower gel it´s also one of my all time favourite products! I simply love the smell - so flowery and fresh! It just picks me up in the morning!

The Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief has been given to me as a gift at the Clinique counter when I bought some other products. This is an extended moisturizing care that can be used as a mask i.e. for 5 / 10 minutes or even overnight. I tried this out but was a little bit disappointed because my skin didn´t react very well - it was too much! But when I recognized that I got much more dry skin under the eyes, now as autumn begins, I used it only in this area and the product turned out perfect! I see that I have less lines from dryness!

This clear Nivea Turbo color dry in 45 sec. nail polish surprised me this month! I used it after I had removed my coloured nail polish just for caring reasons. Because usually my nails get very chippy and cranky afterwards. But whith applying this nail polish I reckoned that my nails stopped chipping which is great! They also grow so good and strong now. :) 

My mostly worn and beloved eye products in August are...
the Clinique high impact mascara which I have gotten as a present at the counter. I must say it really surprised me! I am very picky when it comes to mascara, but this one has a nice brush and texture. It separates my lashes perfectly and is very dark / very black probably highly pigmented... I guess you know what I mean :) I don´t need to apply many layers. The only down side for me is that it is not waterproof and when it comes to mascara I always prefer the waterproof version due to my long lashes!

The MAC naked lunch eye shadow has also been a favourite this month. It´s a nude cream tone with some shimmer and I mainly wore it over my complete eyelid as a one colored tone.

And my new favourite eye liner is the Maybelline master precise eye liner. This has quite a thin felt pen tip and applies so easily and softly, it is not smudging at all and dries right away. I L-O-V-E it!!!

This month I have had 3 favourite lip products!

First of all I was searching for a good lip care, because my lips chipped a little bit. I do know this from changing weather into autumn or winter, but not this early in the year like end of July, beginning of August. So I went to the pharmacy and got the Bepanthol lip cream which is amazing! I am using a tiny amount morning and night and now my lips are smooth and soft again throughout the whole day. :)

In terms of lipstick I preferred the Estée Lauder secret kiss lipstick which is a sheer shimmering rose tone. I love this tone for my pale lips!

And I am still in love with the Clinique runway coral longlasting lipstick! The colour is so cool! :) Especially now as it´s turning to autumn already and it´s more grey and cloudy outside this lipstick is just the right colour flash!! :)


So these were my beauty favourites of August. Actually quite an amount of products but I was so happy about all these that I didn´t want to let one fall behind. I hope that you enjoyed this blog post and that I may have inspired you! ;)
