New nail polish

Discovered this beautiful nail polish. Actually I got a hint that catrice polishes are reduced. So while doing my monthly beauty shopping I had a look and fell head over heels with this woooonderful color! :) It's the number 030 - Meet Me At Coral Island.

This is my new toy! :) Finally got a haistyler, I wanted one of these for so long now! And I find it amazing!!! My hair is normally very fine and straight and I always want to have wavy hair. And now I finally can have it! :) This is the baby...

It has ceramic plates and can be temperatured from 140°C-210°C in 10°C steps. It´s heated up very fast! I parted my hair in 3 steps from down to top and work from side to side. With 170°C I got this result...

And this is what it looks like after 8 hours. To be honest this is more the look that I want to have, but if I need to start with very curly hair that´s ok! :)

I totally love it! And after trying a little bit it goes super fast now and takes me around 15-20 minutes. Addiction-factor: high! ;)

I really got the cutest surprise ever! These flowers were delivered to the office I am working in! My husband is the best!!! He also invites me to a nice restaurant tonight. So happy... :)

shampoo review

As I  mentioned earlier on my blog I can´t help as to buy many things out of a product line when I feel I want to try out something new. This is how I came to buy the Rosemary Shampoo by Weleda.

My personal opinion on this product is that I wouldn´t directly recommend it. Because it made my hair feel very hard while rinsing the shampoo and when I air-dried my hair - what I do on the weekends sometimes - I found the smell of my hair was not so nice! :( Due to the fact that my hair felt so hard and I couldn´t brush through it easily I had to use a conditioner/cure every time I washed my hair with this shampoo. A conditioner is not available from Weleda. Only hair lotion or hair oil which I feared would make my hair greasy.

However, what I really liked about this shampoo is that I think my hair got very clean and it was getting greasy only much later than usually! Normally I wash my hair every 2 days but with the Rosemary Shampoo by Weleda my hair looked still very good on the 3rd day! Maybe I will give it another chance someday, if I ever should have problems with greasy hair and then try it in combination with the hair oil or lotion - I don´t know. ;)

For the moment I`ll stay true to the alverde hair care line which consists of shampoo, conditioner, cure and a special fluid for the hair-ends. This line makes my hair very smooth, soft, shiny and it get´s greasy after 2-3 days only. My hair feels very well cared! And a huge plus is that it´s inexpensive! :)

H&M haul

These are my new items I picked up at H&M recently. I think this top is very cute it has see-through bat wings and is already kind of springish to me. And as it was very sunny here I felt I had to put on something that fits to spring! :) When I went outside I put a cardigan on top of it, but in spring /summer this is the way I would wear it. Sorry the light is so bad in the first pic!

I liked this top so much that I bought it not just in nature white but also in black! :) When thinking of summer evenings this is a nice alternative. You can get this top here.

And I also shopped these two tops that are kind of basics to me. I like wearing these kind of sport tops underneath my sport shirt and the basic top with organic cotton is a top that I would always go to! I own several of these in different colors already and I wear them almost every day underneath my other clothes, while it´s still cold outside.

Valentine´s day gift idea

In a few days it´ll be Valentine´s day. In general I like being thoughtful for each other and of course my hubby get´s a small present on Valentine´s day. Even though it´s mainly a commercial day like shops are full of Valentine´s hearts and everything... but of course we are in love and why not show to each other on the same day, when the whole world is celebrating it?! :) Of course I can say nice things, write him a card/letter or buy a present every other day of the year... and I do so sometimes! :)

Okay of course I will not say, what´s his present for this year, knowing he reads my blog... ;)  so here is my proposal on what you can buy as a gift for your boyfriend/husband...

The L'Oreal men expert hydra energy line is a skin care line that my hubby got as a present on christmas. The face wash gel leaves a very refreshening feeling on your skin, like fresh and awake! (I tested it.) Exactly what´s needed in the morning time! And the skin feels very clean as well.
The eye roll-on is a refreshener that has a nice cooling effect for the eye area,  especially recommendable if you have tired eyes after short nights. There are no wrinkle reducing ingredients mentioned.

 

The moisturizer is like a gel and feels refreshening while applying to the skin and leaves back with a cooling feeling when soaked in. It soaks in super fast, it´s a light texture but the skin feels well covered and it has a nice smell as well. And it also makes the skin suuuper-soft! I like it very much!!! ;) And of course my husband likes the line also very much - he want´s to repurchase it himself now. Another plus that I do not want to forget about is that I gave it to him 7 weeks ago and he has still left let´s say 1/3 of the product in the flacons. We both are super convinced by this line and that´s the reason why I like to point out these products to you!

Do you love Chanel?

I recently went shopping with one of my friends and catched one of my rare Chanel items! :)

It was quite a spontaneous buy, although I was looking for a lipstick/lipgloss in the exact color for a longer time now. So I couldn't be more happy when I found out this lipgloss of Chanel is in their new spring collection!

The color is called Merveille and it fits wonderful to my naturally light rosè colored lips! Basically it is a darker rose tone... the perfect dark rose tone for me! I love it!

Do you also love Chanel? ;)

ny resolution review

I would like to review my new years resolution as in the past I tended to forget about them after a while... ;) so here is my review so far:

• getting more organized - I catched up a little bit making a week plan and introduced a kind of small weekends morning routine, but however I can do more.
• get up at the weekends earlier - Definitively got that sorted! I tend to wake up at 8:30 am now, drink a coffee and get up at 9:00 am. I´m happy about it, because I can get sooo much more done! :)
• do more sports regularly - Yes, I've been to the gym several times and already got compliments from my hubby! :)))
• eat healthier & cook more myself - Cough! What was it? ;) To be honest, I am bad! Although I went for a lot of sports I ate far too many sweets and need to stop it! :(
• shop more quality clothes - Would say I am on a good way here. :)
• start to play tennis - Did it! And although I cannot play very good it was so much fun and I am glad about this new experience. I will keep up with it, the next lesson is booked already!
• be more active - There can always be more. Although I find myself sometimes arriving home very late, eating, bath time, relax a little bit and sleep. I think it also has to do with being more relaxed with/having more time for what I do.
